What we aim for

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA across the public pages and the client desk. The site has not been certified, and we do not claim that every page is free of barriers.

What we have done

Each page has one main heading, a link that skips to the main content, and labelled regions for the header, navigation, main content, and footer. Each page also has its own title.

Text and controls are styled for WCAG 2.2 AA contrast in both the light theme and the dark theme. Links inside sentences are underlined, so they are not identified by colour alone. Interactive controls are sized so they can be used at the WCAG minimum target size, and they show a visible focus ring.

The mobile menu, the search box, and the estimate dialog can be used from the keyboard. Escape closes them and returns focus to the control that opened them. While a dialog is open, focus stays inside it.

Form fields have labels. When a form cannot be sent, the message is connected to the field and announced.

If your browser asks for reduced motion, the animated background stops and page transitions are shortened.

Names, email addresses, technology names, invoice numbers, and currency amounts are marked so a browser’s translator leaves them as written. Prices, dates, and counts on quotes and invoices use one format, and they do not follow the locale of the visitor’s browser.

Known limitations

The map on the contact page is provided by Google, and the controls inside it are Google’s. Signing in with Google also takes you to Google’s own pages.

Files that you or we upload are kept as they were uploaded. We do not convert them into an accessible format.

The site is published in English only. Your browser’s built-in translator can translate the text, while names, prices, and invoice numbers stay as written. We work for businesses, and our Terms of Service explain how this applies to clients in Quebec.

Tell us

If you cannot use a page, email Spencer Hall at spencer@neotheos.com. Name the page, what you were trying to do, and the browser and assistive technology you used. We will reply, and we will correct the barrier when we can.
